Fix Your Eyes On Jesus

There's a story in the Bible about a man named Stephen. He was said to be full of the Spirit, faith, wisdom and power. He worked miracles and did a lot for the people in his time. Even in all that he did, the people banded together, lied on him and ultimately stoned him to death. As he was being stoned, the Bible says that he gazed steadily up to heaven and saw the glory of God and Jesus standing there. His accusers took him out of the city and stoned him to death. As they were stoning him, he prayed for them and asked God not to hold it against them. Each day will present its challenges and we too will sometimes get falsely accused. Some people will agree with you and accept you while others won't. Either way, do your best to fix your eyes on Jesus. Things may or may not change, but as you continually look to Jesus, your perception about it will. You will find that you'll be praying for your haters and not hating them. You will see that Jesus is with you and he will give you grace and peace to make it through. So keep your focus on Him and do not look away.
