Chosen

The tests and trials we go through in life are often unexpected and at times unbearable. I recently took a hit that I didn’t see coming and it left me with more questions than answers. I kept replaying moments and decisions I made, trying to make sure I did the right thing. I began to blame myself and questioned if I was wrong in any way for what I did; was I the reason for the pain?

In this life we will go through a plethora of things that we don’t ask for. One thing we must learn to accept is that sometimes there is absolutely nothing we can do to prevent or even stop it at times. Also, we are not always the reason for the calamity we go through. We were chosen by God to bare certain things in life. While we don’t feel at the time the pressure is applied that we can handle it, in reality we can. Why? Because God will not allow any more than we can handle.

You were chosen before you were born and God already mapped out what you would go through in life. Now, the pivotal moment for you comes when you acknowledge your need for Him and lean on him to help you through it. That is what makes all the difference in our lives!

You were chosen for this, that and them! God has called you to carry what you’re dealing with but not without his help. Remember He had to allow it before it came your way and if so, He already made the way. As hurtful as it may be for you, look to Him for strength and guidance. You will see the good in the bad and ultimately see why you were, CHOSEN!

“The Lord gave me this message: “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.” “O Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I can’t speak for you! I’m too young!” The Lord replied, “Don’t say, ‘I’m too young,’ for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. And don’t be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and will protect you. I, the Lord, have spoken!” Then the Lord reached out and touched my mouth and said, “Look, I have put my words in your mouth!

They will fight you, but they will fail. For I am with you, and I will take care of you. I, the Lord, have spoken!””

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭1‬:‭4‬-‭9‬, ‭19‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.””

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭29‬-‭30‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭10‬ ‭ASV‬‬

“for it is God who worketh in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure.”

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭13‬ ‭ASV‬‬

“But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.”

‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬ ‭NLT‬‬
